Overview

Welcome aboard! Our “Kangaroo Vans” take you to any city in the State of Florida from your home, office, hotel or airport. We are able to keep prices low in exchange for some of your time and a shared ride with other passengers.

ShuttleHopper offers you a solution that is more convenient than lugging bags through public transit, or driving and parking between cities and airports, with prices that are generally more economical than a limo, private sedan, or taxi.

Our automated dispatch system strategically routes you with others traveling to the same geographic area. This system is unique to ShuttleHopper and gets you to your destination as promptly and economically as possible.

Pricing for Shared-Ride Between Cities Shuttle Service

As mentioned above, we work to keep our pricing between the cost of public transportation and a private taxi cab ride. The example below shows a price comparison between our service and that of our competitors’ for a trip to Miami, FL from Orlando, FL.

While this example is specific to travel between Miami, FL and Orlando, FL cities, the pricing differences shown below are representative of those found in the cities we serve across the State of Florida.

Reservations from Station Pick Ups

Once you’ve made your reservation via web or phone, a ShuttleHopper van will pick you up during the pre-arranged 15-minute pick-up window, and drop you off right at your scheduled destination. We schedule our pickups carefully to ensure you will arrive to your destination on-time.

Our 15-minute pick-up window means; that every passenger must be present at the Station Pick up 15 minutes prior departure time. Please be sure to obtain directions to the station location before departure time!

FOR EXAMPLE, if your pickup time is 10:00 am, you need to be completely ready to go and waiting at our Station location 15 minutes before our scheduled pick-up time, that means should be ready to go at 9:45am, so that you will not keep other passengers waiting.

IMPORTANT, shuttles will not wait for late passengers. If you miss your shuttle, you will be considered a “no-show” and will need to re-book another shuttle at your own expense. Refunds are not given for “no-shows”. If you are out of the country we will not be able to call you, please call at your earliest convenience upon arrival.

Reservations from Door to Door

ALL RULES UNDER STATION PICK UPS APPLY TO DOOR TO DOOR!

In addition, if you are traveling as a Door pick up, you MUST make sure that your address is within a 5 miles radius of the nearest station, “Customer Responsibility”; If you book door to door service and the address is more than 5 miles, you will have to go to the station and will not be refunded for door to door service.

IMPORTANT, shuttles will not wait for late passengers. If you miss your shuttle, you will be considered a “no-show” and will need to rebook another shuttle at your own expense. Refunds are not given for “no-shows”. If you are out of the country we will not be able to call you, please call at your earliest convenience upon arrival.

Luggage, Children (Car Seats) and Pets

Our luggage policy closely follows that of airlines. If you have more than one checked bags and one carry-on, if your luggage exceeds 50 pounds, or if you will be carrying large objects such as surfboards or golf clubs, extra fees may be applicable.

While laws vary from state-to-state, we at support the strongest safety standard by recommending that small children five years and under be secured in a child restraint seat for transportation. Additionally, ShuttleHopper does not provide child restraint seats. It is the responsibility of a child’s parent or caregiver to provide the Child Restraint System when transporting children in van and/or taxi cabs. For more information, please review the child passenger safety laws by state.

Different cities have different policies regarding pets. Unfortunately, ShuttleHopper does NOT accept pets on-board!

All confirmed passengers are provided the Dispatch Telephone Number assigned with each trip. If you have any questions in regards to your trip please contact the number provided. All reservations will be confirmed only via email at confirmations@shuttlehopper.com also specified at bottom of confirmation page.
